Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

A double stroller will be vital if you are expecting twins or have two children of the same age. The top double strollers offer different ways to ride your children including side by side seating and an attachment for boards.

The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's favorite stroller. It can be adapted to your family's needs effortlessly. It can hold two infant car seats as well a toddler seat which makes it an ideal option for twins starting at birth.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the most suitable twin stroller for families who want a stylish double side-by-side stroller. It's a little bigger than other Bugaboo strollers however it feels sturdy and built to last. It has a handlebar that is adjustable that retracts and extends easily. It has a decent reach, so my husband who is 6'1", can easily push it, even when he is fully loaded.

Seats are comfortable and can be positioned in a way that one child is behind another or so that the children are facing each other. They can also recline independently from each other. The canopies are big and cover both fabric if desired. However, they don't offer adequate ventilation, so they could be like a tiny oven on hot days. There's no way to see your children.

This stroller features a unique feature that allows it to expand with your family. It can go from one seat (Mono Mode) to a double side by side stroller. This is the only double stroller convertible that can do this! It can be used with the bassinet for infants or a car seat.

It is easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces, and can handle slopes and steps with ease. It can be difficult to maneuver around busy stores and restaurants. It is difficult to fold the seat back, particularly if it is connected. It is still compact and fits through most doors.

There is an extra storage bin that fits on the frame next to the front seat in mono mode. This is ideal for groceries and other items. The main storage basket under the seats is massive and can hold up to 100 lbs which is more than any other stroller on this list!

Uppababy Vista V2

This stroller is one of the best twin strollers designed for newborns. It can be used straight out of the box as a double stroller, and is compatible with many infant car seats and bassets. The Vista Upper and Vista Lower adapters allow you to use two infant car seats at the same time.

In comparison to the original Vista, the V2 has made a few improvements to make it better. The toddler seat is now elevated by a half inch, the footrest is larger and the canopy has an extra fabric extension that zips out. The harness has been updated since it doesn't need to be re-threaded. This makes it much easier to adjust.

The stroller is equipped with big wheels (8" in front and 11.5" in the back) and a robust suspension system, which lets it handle any terrain. The wheels made of rubber on the front are ideal to navigate through rocks and gravel and the tread on the rear wheels is better for sidewalks and grassy hills.

Another feature that is great is the capability to attach a child's bike to the front of the stroller, which is an ideal option for parents who don't want to use an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. And if you have a child who is getting ready to stand, the Vista can also accommodate the third child using its piggyback ride along board.

Vista Vista is easy to use and set up. It does take some time to remove all the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow, and there is a YouTube video to help if you require assistance understanding them.

Cortina Together

Cortina Together is designed for families that are growing and offers parents a variety of seating options to meet the needs and preferences of every child. The two seats in the double stroller come with canopies that are reclining and backrests that are independent. The seats are also designed to accept Chicco's KeyFit or KeyFit 30, the #1 rated infant car seat, in both the front and rear seat. (Car seat sold separately).

The suspension and wheels of the tandem double stroller offer a smooth ride across any terrain. The rear is linked with a single touch. breaks when you tap it, making stopping a breeze.

In our Strollers & Multiples laboratory tests, Cortina Together received high marks for ease of usage. This is based on how easy it is to set up and fold the stroller, adjust the safety harness and open and close the snack tray, engage and deengage the brakes, lift and carry the stroller like you would put it into a trunk, and for double strollers compatible, install and remove an infant car seat.

There are some downsides to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds when fully loaded which is on the extreme side of our metric than the average for this group of strollers. It also has limited visibility when a car seat is placed in the rear. The front tray release isn't always easy to use, particularly when used for a long time. Even with  twin pushchair , we think this is a great double stroller that can keep your family together for years to come.

Jeep Double Stroller

The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is an affordable, lightweight stroller ideal for families with two kids. The front lock wheels swivel and allow for smooth maneuverability on flat surfaces and lock to provide stability on bumpy surfaces. It also has a compact umbrella fold that folds down in a matter of seconds and can be set up for easy transport. Its aluminum frame that is lightweight, carrying strap and handle made of foam makes it one of the most easy double strollers to lift during our tests.

This side-by-side stroller offers seating that reclines independently and foot rests for maximum comfort for both children. Its large canopy can offer UPF 50 sun protection, and it has a peekaboo window that allows for easy monitoring. We'd like to see the canopy vented for extra airflow, however. We also didn't like that the cup holder is quite high on the frame, meaning you'll need to bend down to reach it.

In our tipping test the Jeep fell over at 39 degrees of incline which is higher than average for a double stroller. It's a little heavier however, it has more storage space for the price. The handle and seats are also well-padded.

This versatile stroller has three modes: wagon (just for stuff) and Jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses for children) and car seat mode. It can accommodate a single infant car seat. However, pediatricians advise that you wait until your child is six months old to jog with them. It is available in black and comes with a lifetime warranty.
